As of today, A Real Husband is now available in ebook (including Kindle compatible) at Passion in Print! To celebrate, I’m giving away a pdf copy. The printed book will be available in a couple of weeks– it takes a little longer to do things the old-fashioned way. Oh, let me know what you think of the cover.

A guy ran a red light and hit me.   Luckily, I wasn’t seriously hurt, but I’ve started physical therapy for my neck and shoulder.  Another 2 hours out of my day twice a week. (As if I have time for that. LOL) It’s not difficult. Just time consuming.

I’ve also been going to the gym almost every night. I’ve lost 25 pounds this year. Added to the weight loss of last year, I’m 46 pounds lighter that I was at the beginning of 2009.   The exercise? Now that’s been far more difficult than the physical therapy.  And just as time consuming. But it’s worth it. I sleep better, feel better, and look better.

And now for the real news.   drum roll please….

I’ve signed a contract with Passion in Print for my historical romance novel, A REAL HUSBAND. I’m really excited about it.  They’ve already got some preliminary artwork for the cover. I can already tell you that I’m going to LOVE it. It has the look of  the quintessential historical romance.  If all goes well with the edits, it should be available this fall.  

I’ll post the cover as soon as I have the final draft!

And I just wanted to let everyone know… I’ll be sending out a newsletter very soon.  One of my publishers will have “Free Christmas Reads” at their web site. I’ve contributed THE CHRISTMAS ANGEL which some of you may have downloaded and read from my site last Christmas. And I’ve also written a new, short, western Christmas story called THE SHERIFF’S MISTLETOE LAW.  I think you’ll like it. Besides, it will be FREE!  LOL  Other authors have contributed stories for the free reads, too.  So there should be several available.  I’ll let you know when they are ready for download. They should be up by the end of next week, hopefully.

I’ll also be choosing a name from my newsletter mailing list to receive an autographed print copy of THE WAGONMASTER for Christmas.
