The Roscommon Faerie Tales are set in early medieval Ireland. Conall ό Briain’s home, Kilronan, and the ancient territory of Tir Thuithail, home of Breandan Riagain, are situated in the furthest northeasterly point of County Roscommon. It is an area of natural beauty where the Arigna Mountains host the meeting of the three counties of Roscommon, Leitrim and Sligo. The lush forests there are home to the Roscommon Faeries. |
